CONSIDER PREP IF

  • Had anal/vaginal sex

    Have a sexual partner living with HIV

    Have not consistently used a condom

    Have been diagnosed with an STI in the past 6 months

  • SHARING NEEDLES

    Sharing needles with someone who may be living with HIV
    Share needles, syringes or other injection equipment

  • Are Prescribed PEP

    Have engaged in activities with potential HIV exposure
    Have used multiple courses of PEP

PUBLIC INSURANCE
Funded by the government for low-income individuals, children, elderly, or those with disabilities.



Covers PrEP at low to no cost at D.C. adolescent health clinics.

PRIVATE INSURANCE
Funded by by employers or can be purchased individually
